Charyn canyons are located 200 km east of Almaty, close to the Chinese and Kyrgyz borders. It is also known as Valley of Castles for its unusual rock formations.
Very beautiful canyons named after river that probably long time ago made them - Charyn. Main feature of this sightseeing is what one of our tourists said once - "I am glad i visited this canyon today, not ten years from now. It is still wild, no people and untouched unlike Grand Canyon." |
