Skillful Hands of Osh Craftsmen 4 Days/3 Nights
This is a handicraft tour on the south of Kyrgyzstan. In terms of activities this is a combined (hiking/driving) tour, for which the best season is from April to November Places of Visit: Osh, artisans houses, Osh bazaar, Silk Route museum, Suleiman(Solomon) mountaion

Day 1 Osh Arrival at Osh airport, transfer to the city. Hotel check-in. Excursion to the “Jibek-Jolu” (“Silk Route”) local history museum.
After lunch take a tour to holly Takht-i-Suleiman Mountain. Dinner in a restaurant.
Silk Road museum, Suleiman mountain - undoubtedly, the most renowned attraction of Osh city.
Day 2 Osh Breakfast. Visit a house of a craftsman who makes tandyrs (round shaped clay ovens) that are used to bake samsy (flaky pies with meat or other stuffing) and famous oriental lepechkas (flat round bread). Lunch with hot lepeshkas and aromatic tea will make a very delicious conclusion to first part of the day. After lunch visit “Zolotaya Dolina” (“Golden Valley”) handicraft center. National dinner in a chaikhana (oriental teahouse), where you are going to dine on local specialties, will perfectly fit the day tours
House of tandyrs craftsman, you will learn about the technology of making tandyrs. In a house of an Uzbek family you will have a chance to bake your own lepeshka in a tandyr. In Golden Valley handicraft center you will see the process of making ceramic ware by Osh craftsmen. Grab an opportunity to use the newly-obtained knowledge to create your own clay masterpiece.
Day 3 Osh Breakfast. Visit house of a felt artisan. For lunch you will be invited to samsykhana where the noted Osh delicacy samsa is served. This day another craft is to be scrutinized: making beshiks (national wooden cradles).
Then you will take a walk to blacksmiths’ shops. Dinner.
House of felt artisan. Here you will witness the process of creation of Kyrgyz national carpets – shirdaks (quilted carpets) and alakiizes (pressed felt carpets) at the house of a felt artisan who will tell you everything about felting technology. House of beshik artisan - here you will have a chance to see how cradles are made, how they are handled, how a child is put in a beshik. Listen to an interesting and authentic narration about ceremonies associated with a beshik. Finally, you will visit artisans-manufacturers of national knives. You can see the whole manufacturing process and even purchase knives as souvenirs.
Day 4 Osh Breakfast. As a final stage of exploring Osh handicraft wander around the renowned Osh bazaar. Abundance of colors, dried fruit and oriental sweets will make your last tour unforgettable. Lunch. Trasnfer to airport. End of service.
Osh bazaar in Osh (do not confuse with Osh bazaar in Bishkek) - reportedly the most ancient and the cheapest in Kyrgyzstan.
